The Hands Off Failand Green Belt campaign is requesting funds to represent residents in the Appeal to build 200 houses in the field next to Flax Bourton Road.
You should have received an email or hand-delivered letter.
If this development goes ahead all the other fields around Failand will follow so wherever you live in the village it is in your interest to support the campaign.
The team of 3 Failand residents behind the campaign is the same which defeated the Appeal to build hundreds of houses in Weston Road back in 2010.
It is well worth donating £200 to defeat the Flax Bourton road appeal, a small amount in relation to the value of your property.
Most of the arguments put forward will be applicable to Weston Road if that developer also appeals.
The communication from the campaign includes the relevant bank details (you may need to describe the payment purpose as "Paying a Bill" if no more suitable option is presented).
A meeting is being held on Wednesday 28 October at 7pm in Failand Village Hall where you can meet the team.
