Proposed residential sites for the new North Somerset Local Plan do NOT include the fields around Failand:
The North Somerset Cabinet voted unanimously for these to be the proposed sites on 18 June.
It is hoped this will thwart speculative applications applications on the fields around Failand where developers are hoping to exploit the window of opportunity before North Somerset Council adopt the new plan.

The Cabinet will vote on the full plan on 15 October and it is expected to be submitted to the Secretary of State for examination in December 2025.
